When Johnny comes marching home
Greetings ledheads,
Another one of my favorites is this little guy from Architects of War. I've never seen another miniature that has the facial expressions like this one. I think Johnny comes marching home fits this pretty well.
Tremendous stuff Captain. I can hear the music in my ears as I type this! Reminds me of that scene in "How the West was Won" when the young soldier comes back to his farm. Very moving.
Very good....a conversion?

DeleteThat is a nice sculpt. The pose and the facial expression tell the story of what he's seen and what he's feeling. Just lovely.

Deletevery beautiful figure! and like always so well painted!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sam
DeleteHe looks young, Capt. I bet he left as n innocent boy for war, and is returning home a sober young man with an ounce of lead in his rump.
ReplyDeleteHe lied about his age and enlisted at 13...4 years later he's all grown up and going home.
DeleteHe looks young as Jay said above, but tired as well..
ReplyDeleteHe must have seen a lot, even though a youngster. :)
Nice work Richard. :)
Thank you Thanos
