Good evening,
I've combined the infantry and cavalry on the next bunch of rebels that I'm doing. also Ive changed the basing. Using just sand and small stone for vegetation and with combinations of greens and yellows I've seen this method on a few blogs and I think its a real neat process. I've also changed the swords, cutting them off and drilling out the handle and using pins instead. All 3 flags are hand painted. So heres a few of them in somewhat of a finished state. I would like to take this time to thank everyone who visits my blog...your views and comments are greatly apprieciated. A special thanks to my daughter Mindi for taking the videos for me, its not easy getting around my table.

Now for something different...fantasy junkyards
Hello everyone,
Now and then I'll put something up that has nothing to do with the civil war. Classic car, race cars, been a road racing fanatic most of my life. Think about the kind of cars you would never see in a junkyard. A couple of marques come to mind, Ferrari, Bugatti to name a couple. Well, what if they were in a junkyard, what would they look like? With out a doubt this would be a fantasy junkyard. A couple of models that I've chosen are the 1961 Ferrari short wheel based berlinetta and the 1928 35B Bugatti grand prix racer. If you walked into a junkyard and these two cars were in front of you, would you reach for your wallet and say how much?..I know I would.
