Heres a cavalry man applying battle honors with a rookie infantry man looking on. Instead of using static grass on this I used a piece of terry cloth painted green. All of the terrain on my table is done with either terry cloth or imitation rabbits fur.

It´s not just that you have the great ideas...it´s the great realisation of them...Artist is the word I´m looking for.

Brilliant idea and very well done. Love it.
ReplyDeleteTop stuff Captain, really like the look of this piece. Terrytowel seems to work very well as grass, I might just have to experiment with that myself.
ReplyDeleteWell that's pretty darn inventive.

Great piece Captain Richard!
ReplyDeleteMy oh my that's nice. Reminds me of a classic painting Troiani did some years ago. What is the origin of the figures for this piece? They are so unique.
ReplyDeleteThe terry cloth idea is excellent. It really looks great!
ReplyDeleteThanks again guys for the comments...Ad, the artist with the brush is by Dixon and the standing infantryman is by Architects of War, who by the way have some figs with facial expressions that you wont find anywhere else.
