Working on the stone road

Greetings everyone,
If theres one problem that I have…its that I can't leave anything alone, have to change it, can't help myself. I laid down this stone road, paper actually on a piece of styrofoam board. Styrofoam board is not like the pink or blue styrofoam that I normally use, this is a lot harder. Using the process that I used on the wall won't work on the road. What I did is cut out pieces of stone and glue them on top of the existing stone and added a little shading. Trying to get some highlights and depth to the stone, I also have spaces where the stone is missing. Heres a few shots starting with the before pictures.

  3. Very convincing depiction of a road in poor repair. Where is a good Roman road builder when you need one?

  7. This has to be the most realistic looking model road I have seen and to think it was made with paper, superb.
