The last farm house

Well, after 2 days of tearing everything down,,,I have 2 or 3 sections of what was once a 9 x 10 foot battlefield / town. Whenever we do settle into our new location, I'll have a 1200 sq. ft. area to build in.
This is one of the sections that I'll incorporate into my new battlefield. In the 2nd photo, theres a red arch which is a tunnel leading out of the farm house.

Weeds

Good evening,
I'm in the process of tearing everything down ...just keeping parts of the battlefield that I want to move to our new house. One part would be my swamp which has been up here before, but the trees that line the swamp ,I was never able to photograph to show them the right way. since I'm packing them up without the swamp thought I would take some pics...these are weeds on top of rocks which would have been half buried in the dirt and water. The bottom of the trees are hand formed roots out of clay and the thin vines were added.

Thats gonna leave a mark!

Good evening,
I had a few of these die cut wooden circles, so I thought I'd use one. Had the camera out, thought I'd take some shots and pass them along.

The Warehouse revisited

About a year ago I put a few shots of this up here...not satisfied with anything I do, I;m still screwing around with it, more glue here, more paint there...whatever, anyways....it's baaack.

Another group of Confederate Infantry

Rebasing an army is a slow process...but you take what you've learned from other people on some of the great blogs I've come across and try to improve what you have already done. I concentrate mostly on the basing using crushed sea shells for the road and railroad ballast for the vegetation.
