Work starts on the first corner
Greetings everyone,
Last time I started working on this track, I used browncraft paper glue to the track , then i painted it.
After while the paper started to lift, no matter what glue I used it wouldnt stay down. Now I'm actually painting the track which should work out fine. I decided to use the barn in the corner...Mad Max has a place to park.

Coming soon at Captain Richards...pics added
Greetings everyone
Since my last post Ive taken down the slot car track twice and rebuilt it, not satisfied with it on a 14 foot table in the back room, I moved it to the 25 foot table . The Civil War battlefield is no longer. What will be there is a slot car rally track going thru a ghost town. The larger buildings will be closer to the track and the smaller ones farther back so that scale won't be noticeable. So what I will have is a racetrack sitting on the hallowed grounds of a Civil War battlefield that is now a ghost town. Everything that was made for the battlefield is available for use on this new project. Well I got my first ghost...he fits right in with the race track. We all know who he is...don't we?

Thank you!
I would like to take this time to thank the many fine modelelers, artists and creative people that have visited this blog and those who have taken the time to follow the goings on of Captain Richard. From time to time I tend to wander to some off the wall places, but generally I try to be creative in my own little way. I have met many fine people in the 2 1/2 years that I've been here. I hope our relationships will keep on going and I can meet many more of the creative minds that are out there. Again I thank all of you.

More track scenery and a new car added
Greetings everyone,
I added a 1999 Subaru WRC car. This particular car did not come with a driver, so i bought a driver on Ebay that was made by Cox in 1965. More trees and groundwork have been added.
