Thank you for the kind words PP
helloCap'n a small favour if I may, I have a Dixon 25, rebellious type, standard bearer in floppy hat (probably back a few pages on the blog) who doesn't have a standard to bear as yet. Any suggestions for a slightly 'off the wall' flag for him to wave about the place, bearing in mind I'm not much of an artist.... It's simply a one off figure as my acw armies are 15's (mostly for the army of the west). I know I have a few more about the house, enough for a vignette but cant locate them as yet.regardspp
Hello PP,If you go to your computer and plug in photos of confederate regimental flags, there are pages and pages of off the wall flags. I saw that little guyyou did and I gotta say ,you are good. I would usea flag thats been thru the war, because he looks like he' s been thru the war. A flag with holes and rips would be perfect. On the first page of this blog, I used one that was faded and falling apart, you can pull something like that of that website and you wouldnt have to do anything to it. Hope this helps.
