More work on the alley

Greetings everyone,
I've been working on some of the little details. Researching on Google, I noticed a drain pipe coming out of a brick wall, fire cans, sewers, lights all the things that would make this look as real as possible.  Theres no planning when i do things like this, whatever pops in my head thats what I do.
Sometimes its a good idea, other times not so good. Heres some shots.

  6. Yep
Yes my eye street view looks like the real thing, even though I have not lived this times.
The light makes sentimental to think
Only steps noise and bakery smell to my noses is missing
On this street is up to the sewer-well ...

  11. Astonishing! Truly the work of a master craftsman. Do you use commercial textures or design your own?

    1. Thanks Captain. What I meant was did you design the brick pattern or is it from one of the paper model companies.

  13. I didnt design it...I tried to use a pattern that looked multi- dimensional, In some areas I built up the brick with a second layer along with the spackling gave it even more depth.

    1. Thanks Captain. Sorry, I'm not making myself clear. I wanted to know where you got the paper textures from. I do a lot of card modelling and I am always looking for new sources of textures. Apologies for all the questions.
