More track scenery and a new car added

Greetings everyone,
I added a 1999  Subaru WRC car. This particular car did not come with a driver, so i bought a driver  on Ebay that was made by Cox in 1965.  More trees and groundwork have been added.

  1. Excellent track modeling, Capt! I'm too old to remember if that Cox figure was the one I had in my Chaparral...but it sure does look familiar. I converted the driver to be looking down a bit and at his side mirror. Boy...the memories are flooding back big time. THANKS! (I'm really liking this project of yours.)

  4. Cap'n you can make even slot cars look Gothy and mysterious. I never wanted slot cars as they usually meant picking them off the floor judging from the kids that had them. This set up look great.

  7. Are you weighting your model cars?

I find that Scalextrix cars run better (and stay on the track if a little bit of lead is added to the floor pan.

Cool model and pics. Man, that Subaru looks like the one my neighbor drives - less the race colors. Best, Dean
