The hardware store

Greetings everyone,
This building was purchased for four dollars. For that amount you get a wooden shell of a building, nothing more...still a great deal. With a little creativity, you can make four dollars go a long way.

  2. Although you don't show the building's condition 'at purchase', one suspects it would have been a good buy even without refurbishment. Of course, the refurbishment gives it a value far beyond that purchase price. A very nice wee building - looks a bit like a residential edifice that has been taken over for commercial purposes... A look like that suggests a history - we can imagine that hardware store has a story behind it.
    Cheers,

  9. Ladies and gentlemen...Thank you. What I started with was 6 pieces of wood...front,back,2 sides and 2 pieces for the roof all glued together. 1/4 inch thick wood painted red...for four dollars. What i added was, a tile roof (corrugated cardboard), side shed and roof (cardboard),
widow glass (clear plastic), window sills, stone wall around the base, 2 doors, front wooden walkway and bench ,white paint and signage. A little cardboard , glue and paint goes a long way.
