The building has a large hole in it.

Greetings everyone,
This was not a planned event...There are no bombed out houses on the Confederate side...SO, now there is. I just took a corner of the house and a little bit of the roof. The following shots will show you how I got there.

Ripping off the roof and the side of the house is a little scary

The bricks were run off the computer

This covers the cut lines in the paper brick

And there you have it...paper bricks

Shots of a brick wall

Greetings everyone,
This wall is part of the Sherriffs' office at the edge of town. Its actually a piece of paper with a Vaudeville ad on it. Vaudeville, or stage acting  was  the entertainment during the Civil War.

Making a campfire look real

Greetings everyone,
This is how I go about making a campfire. first you need a orange L.E.D. sunk in between a few rocks.
Next you need a small piece of clear plastic glued  in next to the L.E. D. A little white glue on the plastic and cotton stuck to the glue. Theres your campfire.

Finished campfire with plastic and cotton

plastic glued next to the L.E.D. with white glue on it

Creating wild grass in Shanty town

Greetings everyone,
Creating a Civil War battlefield / town takes a while to build...detailing it takes a lot longer. The layout is over 30 feet long by approx. 3  feet wide  The following photos shows what it takes to detail less than a 12 inches by 4 inches of space.

The fur is 2 inches wide and 30 inches long

The colors used...3 shades of green and straw yellow

The fur starts out a dark brown

For the walk way all the fur is cut off and painted
two shades of brown
